As a self-taught makeup artist with a passion for creation, Nana Ama's love of makeup artistry started during childhood and she began practicing applying makeup on her friends and family. She has always been interested in turning this into a business and has sharpened her technique by attending various makeup trade shows and taking courses/attending seminars with skilled makeup artists. Outside the beauty industry, she has held positions in the Education and Governmental Agencies, and in Canada's broader Public Sector by way of International Development in her Professional career, but her Entrepreneurial spirit is what led her to be the owner and CEO of her own makeup artistry empire.
